The Chilean plum season will finish with a flourish at Oppy, when the exciting new fruit known as RR1 arrives in April.
RR1 is a late-harvesting, long-storing plum with yellow flesh that transforms to light red as it ripens. First planted in Chile 2010, RR1 follows the popular Angelino variety in availability and can sustain the plum season well into May.

Fruit officials and port officials met with him prior to the arrest. Containers are difficult, putting pressure on all exporters. The other open ports where our break bulk ships are loading are getting more pressure to strike as well as pressure to receive other container lines.

Campbell’s association with the company began in the late 1990s when he led a Zespri kiwifruit sampling team throughout the Eastern U.S. He also worked for Oppy in a quality control capacity for four years starting in 2001.

VANCOUVER, B.C. — Origin Organic Farms is adding a welcome splash of color to The Oppenheimer Group’s sweet B.C. bell pepper menu, and greater volume to accommodate market demand.
Building on last year’s trial season, the Delta-based grower has expanded four-fold, and added yellow and orange peppers to the mix. Oppy will begin shipping the full range of OriginO-branded organic peppers at the end of April.
