With increased volume thanks to added acreage and enhanced seed selection, West Coast Tomato Growers, owners of the famed Oceanside Pole tomato brand, are poised for an excellent season.

Harvest began on the final days of June, and will continue through autumn.

Vallejo, who had been an Oppy sales representative since 2007, now leads the seven-person team responsible for marketing the company’s products in the southwestern U.S., as well as national foodservice business development.

VANCOUVER, B.C. — Origin Organic Farms is adding a welcome splash of color to The Oppenheimer Group’s sweet B.C. bell pepper menu, and greater volume to accommodate market demand.

Building on last year’s trial season, the Delta-based grower has expanded four-fold, and added yellow and orange peppers to the mix. Oppy will begin shipping the full range of OriginO-branded organic peppers at the end of April.

OCEANSIDE, Calif. — West Coast Tomato Growers, owners of the popular Oceanside Pole tomato brand, are ramping volumes up to historic heights.

Looking ahead to its second season marketing these premium tomatoes, The Oppenheimer Group estimates that volume could jump to roughly 4.5 million cases between July and November.

This move elevates West Coast Tomato Growers back to its dominant position as the foremost Western U.S. vine-ripe tomato producer, with added volume to accommodate demand for the preferred Oceanside Pole tomato brand.
