VANCOUVER, B.C.— In a move that aims to better serve customers in Eastern Canada, The Oppenheimer Group opened a sales office in Toronto, Ontario on October 15.

Senior Sales Representative Steve McKee came to Oppy following nearly a decade and a half with Sunkist Growers, Inc., where he has held various sales and sales leadership positions. Most recently, he marketed citrus throughout English-speaking Eastern Canada, and implemented sales strategies for national Canadian retail accounts.

VANCOUVER, B.C. —  While The Oppenheimer Group may be one of the best known names in the international produce community, day-to-day the industry has long called the full-service produce marketing and distribution company something else altogether.

“Our friends call us Oppy,” said John Anderson, chairman president and CEO.

And as the organization began a brand-refreshment initiative earlier this year, the moniker resonated.

VANCOUVER, B.C. — Oppenheimer’s East Coast senior sales representative Brett Libke has been promoted to the role of East Coast director of sales.

“Brett has proven to be a very strategic thinker, is well regarded throughout the industry, and possesses invaluable leadership qualities,” said David Smith, Oppenheimer’s senior vice president, North American sales and categories. “His experience and knowledge of the business will complement the sales efforts made by many of Oppenheimer’s veteran sales people on the East Coast.”
