Family fun with Oppy produce for Halloween

Oppy has been donating pumpkins for five years to the Mackin House Museum for their public Halloween events. Mackin House is a restored house museum in Coquitlam, BC operated by the Coquitlam Heritage Society that exhibits life in the Edwardian era. This year Oppy didn’t only donate pumpkins, but apples as well.

For their Heritage Halloween event, the kids dressed up in costume and carved pumpkins while whole families enjoyed fresh apples, candied apples, apple cider, Dutch Apple Cake and an Apple Bread Pudding recipe from 1915.

Programme Manager, Stefani Klaric, of Coquitlam Heritage Society said, “Thank you again for helping our little heritage house create lovely family oriented programming for our community!”
