Oppy honored as Coquitlam’s business of the month
Ending an already memorable year on yet another high note, Oppy was recently recognized as the business of the month for December 2019 by the City of Coquitlam! The city launched the business of the month program in May 2019 to recognize the successes of local companies.
Mayor Richard Stewart welcomed the 12-strong Oppy team to City Hall during a regular council meeting and highlighted the important ongoing role that our company plays in supporting the economic development of the city.
John Anderson said, “We are proud to be the oldest company in the province. Thanks to our global scope we were able to provide over 6.5 billion servings of fresh fruits and vegetables around the world, which has a wide-ranging positive impact on people’s health as well as the communities in which we live and work.”
