Day in the life… of Oppy Foreign Trade & Logistics Coordinator, Andrea Corvalan
Andrea grew up and currently lives in Santiago, Chile where she studied foreign trade and became a bilingual secretary. She worked as an import assistant at Watt’s Alimentos, a packaged food products producer and marketer. Her experience there led to Oppy hiring her over 13 years ago.
From Oppy’s Santiago office, Andrea coordinates with growers, shipping lines and staff to manage the logistics and operational activities from the U.S. and Canada. After all these years Andrea continues to advance her career path within the company.
Andrea loves to travel, spend time with family and is a regular Pilates practitioner. She lives by her motto “no matter what happens in your life, see the positive side of it.” A friendly reminder we can all agree on.
