Building relationships on northwest tour
From Seattle to Issaquah, Wenatchee to Brewster and ending in Pateros, the Oppy team of BDRs, category leaders and marketing staff took an educational (and scenic!) tour through Washington state in mid-September. Meeting with colleagues from Ocean Spray, Zespri, Crane & Crane and BC Tree Fruits, the week was full of constant learning.
BDR Manager and Sales Manager Audrey Desnoyers, who organized the trip, was beaming with pride from the strong teamwork and high level of creativity within her team—that was especially prevalent over those few days.
The many highlights included touring the Crane & Crane orchards and pack house with grower sisters Rachel and Kaylan and a hike through Big Tree Ridge Trail with team Zespri. “This was an excellent tour for connecting with our growers and building on our appreciation for what they do every day,” James Milne VP of marketing wrapped up.
