San Antonio port strike update
While we have experienced no disruptions yet, pressure continues. The president of the Port Workers Front Julio Castillo was arrested on 1/21 for disorderly conduct. Fruit officials and port officials met with him prior to the arrest. Containers are difficult, putting pressure on all exporters. The other open ports where our break bulk ships are loading are getting more pressure to strike as well as pressure to receive other container lines.
