You are now entering an idle-free zone
A new “anti-idling” program has been put in place at the Vancouver warehouse thanks to the sustainability committee. Recently focusing their initiatives on transportation by reducing pollution, engine emissions and costs, the idle-free signs were installed by Russell Watts last month. Signs are hung in the docks that are currently active for shipping and receiving. Placed about 6 feet up, they are visible in the driver’s side mirrors—and if they happen to miss them, there are additional signs at the doors drivers regularly use.
The Calgary office looks forward to rolling out the same program in the coming months. Thank you to everyone who contributed in making our earth a healthier, cleaner place to be.
