Nectarines
Our imported nectarines from Chile offer a tangy, sweet and juicy taste of summer during our North American winter months.
Appearance
Medium to large and round with smooth, shiny skin. Yellow varieties have a golden yellow interior with flesh that is darker red around the seed, and golden skins that blush orange-red. White varieties have white interior flesh, also red around the seed, with white skins that blush pink-red.
Flavor/Texture
Tangy-sweet and extremely juicy, with firm texture and lightly fibrous flesh. White varieties have a delicately sweet flavor. Early varieties are clingstone. Later varieties are freestone.
