“I just want to thank you for your cherries,” writes Susan, who left The Dalles, Oregon — the hometown she shares with Orchard View Farms — to serve in the U.S. military in the 1970s. “When I was stationed in Korea, my grandma sent me some. I now live in Hawaii and can get your cherries in the commissary and at Sam’s club. I always look for cherries from home, and yours taste best.”
