Director of Transport
As director of transport, Stewart oversees all surface transportation across North America. He was promoted to this role in 2015, following one year as transportation and supply chain manager where he supervised transportation, warehouse, QC and manufacturing in our Calgary, AB facility. Prior to joining Oppy, Stewart led a team focused on temperature controlled transportation of perishables at C.H. Robinson Worldwide, Inc., Calgary.

Stewart has developed Oppy’s third-party logistics business via the evolution of Oppy Transport, and consistently refines processes and systems within the transportation department.

Representing Oppy on a number of the Canadian Produce Marketing Association’s working groups, Stewart currently sits on the Canadian Government Issue Management (CGIM) committee and the convention sponsorship committee. He is also the past president of the Calgary Produce Marketing Association’s board of directors and previously sat on the CPMA marketing, education and convention committee.

Stewart holds a diploma in marketing from Okanagan College and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from University of British Columbia Okanagan with a major in marketing and a minor in international business.
