Brett leads the sales strategy and market development initiatives for the full range of Oppy products across the U.S. and Canada, overseeing a team of over 50 sales professionals based in more than a dozen strategically located offices.
He was promoted to his current role in 2019, having served as vice president of U.S. sales for the prior year. Previously, Brett was Oppy’s general manager, East Coast, a September 2013 promotion that combined his role of director of sales, which he'd been appointed to a year earlier, with oversight of East Coast operations. Brett joined us in August 2011, following a decade and a half with C.H. Robinson Worldwide, Inc., Eden Prairie, Minn., where he gained experience in various sales and management roles within the produce, supply chain, and logistics disciplines.
Brett has represented Oppy on the Produce for Better Health Foundation's board of trustees and executive committee, and held the position of vice chair in 2018. He is a member of the Produce Marketing Association Foodservice committee. He was honored among Produce Business Magazine's 40 Under 40 in 2014.
Brett holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature from the University of Missouri.
