Growing since 1995, family owned and operated Seven Fields is one of the largest grower-packer-shippers of Australian citrus.
Two of the owners, Richard Byllaardt and David “Datesy” Stevens, who is a fourth generation citrus grower from the Sunraysia region in Victoria, oversee the day-to-day operation. Produced on 450 hectares in Sunraysia, Seven Fields citrus thrives in an ideal Mediterranean climate which boasts an average of 122 clear days each year―including 77 days when the temperature exceeds 30°C / 86°F. These hot days and corresponding cool nights develop juicy, deep orange colored fruit with just the right balance of sugar and acid. 100 hectares of Afourers (W. Murcotts) and Navels grow under nets, protecting them from inclement weather and particularly strong winds that can mark the oranges’ skin. And with a state-of-the-art packing facility in operation, Seven Fields’ signature sweet citrus is delivered in unparalleled condition.
